About the Role

We are seeking motivated recent college graduates and entry-level professionals who are interested in building a career in the Healthcare Information Technology (Healthcare IT) industry.

This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with limited or no previous experience in Information Technology who are eager to learn, develop technical skills, and contribute to the implementation and support of healthcare technology solutions.

As part of the team, you will work alongside experienced professionals, supporting healthcare applications and systems that contribute to clinical and business operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the design, configuration, implementation, testing, validation, documentation, and ongoing maintenance of healthcare applications.

• Assist with the administration and support of assigned systems under the guidance of senior team members.

• Analyze user requirements, workflows, and business processes to identify opportunities for system improvements and automation.

• Document system workflows, configurations, testing activities, changes, and end-user communications.

• Develop and maintain system documentation, testing procedures, and quality standards.

• Participate in system enhancements, modifications, and implementation projects.

• Monitor system performance, identify potential issues, troubleshoot errors, and escalate complex problems when necessary.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to coordinate projects, facilitate meetings, and ensure timely completion of assigned tasks.

• Provide functional and technical support for healthcare IT applications, integrated systems, data and analytics tools, and other digital platforms.

• Develop an understanding of healthcare organizations, clinical workflows, ancillary systems, and healthcare operations.

  Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, particularly in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, Healthcare, or a related field.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Strong analytical, organizational, and time management abilities.

  • Ability to build positive working relationships and communicate effectively with different stakeholders.

  • Self-motivated, proactive, and eager to learn.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage challenges effectively.

  • Ability to understand and work with data from different sources and formats.

  • Previous exposure to a healthcare environment is a plus.

  • Willingness and ability to successfully complete a healthcare technology vendor-administered assessment following training.
