Full-Stack Developer ( 1 year Contractor)
Heredia, Costa Rica
We are seeking a highly skilled Full-Stack Developer to join a leading global technology organization. In this role, you will help build and enhance internal employee-facing applications that streamline purchasing requests, approval workflows, and business processes.
You will work across Python backend services, TypeScript/React front-end experiences, APIs, integrations, and data workflows that connect employee-facing solutions with enterprise systems. This is a hands-on engineering role for someone who can collaborate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders and transform complex business requirements into scalable, user-friendly software solutions.

Key Responsibilities
- Build full-stack features that simplify internal purchasing, intake, approvals, and spend-related workflows.
- Develop Python backend services and REST APIs that integrate with enterprise procurement, finance, identity, workflow, and data systems.
- Create intuitive TypeScript/React user experiences that simplify complex backend processes and improve employee experience.
- Improve intake and approval workflows by enhancing usability, visibility, and process efficiency.
- Partner with IT, Finance, Procurement, Legal, and business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver effective technical solutions.
- Participate in sprint planning, code reviews, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Design scalable, maintainable, and reliable software solutions that support evolving business needs.
Requirements
- 4+ years of professional experience in Full-Stack Software Development.
- Strong experience with Python, TypeScript, and React.
- Experience building production-grade web applications, REST APIs, and third-party integrations.
- Experience with FastAPI, Flask, or similar Python frameworks.
- Solid understanding of API architecture, authentication, authorization, validation, and backend service design.
- Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL and relational databases.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, preferably GitHub Actions.
- Experience working with workflow-driven applications, approval processes, or enterprise systems.
- Advanced English communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative, and evolving environment.
- Must be available to collaborate with stakeholders operating in the US Pacific Time zone.
