Full-Stack Developer (AI Systems & Enterprise Applications)

1-Year Contractor

We are seeking a highly skilled Full-Stack Developer to join a leading global technology organization. In this role, you will design, build, and enhance internal employee-facing applications that streamline purchasing requests, approval workflows, and business operations while contributing to the development of AI-powered solutions that improve automation, decision-making, and user experience.

You will work across Python backend services, TypeScript/React front-end applications, REST APIs, enterprise integrations, data workflows, and AI-enabled systems, helping transform complex business processes into scalable, intelligent, and user-friendly software solutions.

This is a hands-on engineering role for someone who enjoys collaborating with cross-functional teams, solving complex technical challenges, and designing modern applications that leverage both traditional software engineering and AI capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications that simplify purchasing, intake, approval, and spend management workflows.
• Build scalable backend services and REST APIs using Python to integrate with enterprise procurement, finance, identity, workflow, and data platforms.
• Develop intuitive, responsive user interfaces using TypeScript and React to improve employee productivity and user experience.
• Design and develop AI-powered features and intelligent workflows that automate business processes and enhance decision-making.
• Collaborate in the design, development, and implementation of AI systems, including integrations with Large Language Models (LLMs), AI services, and machine learning-powered solutions where applicable.
• Improve workflow automation by optimizing usability, visibility, and operational efficiency.
• Partner with IT, Finance, Procurement, Legal, and business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
• Participate in architecture discussions, sprint planning, code reviews, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Design scalable, secure, maintainable, and reliable software solutions that support evolving business needs.
• Follow engineering best practices for software quality, testing, CI/CD, observability, and system reliability.

Required Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional experience in Full-Stack Software Development.
• Strong experience with Python, TypeScript, and React.
• Experience building production-grade web applications, REST APIs, and enterprise integrations.
• Experience with FastAPI, Flask, or similar Python frameworks.
• Experience designing and building AI-powered applications or integrating AI services into software solutions.
• Experience working with Large Language Models (LLMs), AI APIs, prompt engineering, or AI orchestration frameworks is highly desirable.
• Solid understanding of API architecture, authentication, authorization, validation, and backend service design.
• Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL and relational database design.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, preferably GitHub Actions.
• Experience working with workflow-driven applications, approval processes, or enterprise systems.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to design scalable and maintainable software architectures.
• Advanced English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative, and evolving environment.
• Must be available to collaborate with stakeholders operating in the US Pacific Time zone.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with AI frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, Semantic Kernel, LlamaIndex, or similar.
• Experience integrating OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, or other generative AI platforms.
• Familiarity with vector databases, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), embeddings, and AI agent architectures.
• Experience deploying applications in cloud environments (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and modern cloud-native development practices.
• Experience implementing monitoring, observability, and performance optimization for distributed systems.
