Technical Program Manager II (Contractor)
Objective
Lead high-impact technical programs focused on post-merger integrations and enterprise-wide business and technology transformations. This role is responsible for translating acquisition strategies into scalable technical execution plans, ensuring operational scalability and alignment with organizational growth objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end technical due diligence and post-acquisition integration planning across enterprise systems, infrastructure, security, and business applications.
- Drive the integration of acquired companies into the organization’s technical ecosystem, aligning architecture, identity management, data environments, and operational processes.
- Design and implement scalable governance frameworks, integration playbooks, and standardized execution models to accelerate value realization.
- Partner with cross-functional teams including Engineering, IT, Security, Finance, Legal, HR, and Product to convert business acquisition strategies into actionable technical roadmaps.
- Manage large-scale technical and business process transformation programs aligned with company growth and operational scalability goals.
- Identify integration risks proactively, assess impact, and implement mitigation strategies across multiple workstreams.
- Establish program metrics, executive reporting structures, and operating rhythms to ensure transparency and leadership alignment.
- Operate effectively across multiple time zones while influencing senior stakeholders and navigating ambiguity in fast-paced environments.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in technical program or project management within complex, cross-functional environments.
- Proven experience supporting mergers and acquisitions, including technical due diligence and post-merger integrations.
- Strong understanding of enterprise systems such as Identity platforms, ERP, HRIS, Finance systems, SaaS ecosystems, and Cloud infrastructure.
- Demonstrated experience leading enterprise-scale technical and business transformation initiatives.
- Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent workstreams with interdependencies and aggressive timelines.
- Experience defining governance models, integration frameworks, and standardized execution processes.
- Strong risk management capabilities, stakeholder alignment, and executive-level communication skills.
- Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in high-growth technology or cloud-native environments.
- Master’s degree (MBA or advanced technical degree).
- Experience building M&A integration playbooks or operating models from the ground up.
- Knowledge of enterprise architecture principles and systems integration strategies.
- Experience using program management tools such as Jira, Smartsheet, or similar platforms.
- Familiarity with compliance and security frameworks (SOX, ISO, SOC2).
