Position Purpose
The Financial Manager | Controller is responsible for leading the financial, accounting, tax, compliance, and reporting functions of the Shared Service Center (SSC). This role ensures the integrity of financial reporting, effective financial planning, proper execution of intercompany charges under transfer pricing guidelines, and compliance with local and international regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the SSC budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, financial modeling, and cost optimization initiatives to support operational and strategic decision-making.
- Design and manage intercompany recharge methodologies under OECD transfer pricing guidelines, including accurate billing, direct and indirect cost allocations, true-ups, supporting documentation, and proper accounting treatment of transition costs.
- Oversee tax compliance activities, including tax filings, local financial statements, regulatory requirements, tax loss carry forward monitoring, tax treaty analysis, and coordination of audits and regulatory inquiries.
- Maintain and strengthen the internal control environment (ICS) by supporting control documentation, certification processes, remediation plans, and promoting a culture of compliance and risk awareness across the SSC.
- Ensure adherence to internal policies, governance frameworks, and applicable regulations while supporting end-to-end finance process reviews (P2P, O2C, R2R) and acting as a key financial compliance partner for regional stakeholders.
- Supervise general accounting operations and the monthly financial close process, including financial reporting, reconciliations, account analysis, adjustments, and coordination with R2R and P2P teams.
- Oversee procurement, treasury, and operational finance activities, including Purchase Order approvals, vendor management, cash flow and funding monitoring, fixed asset control, and financial support for facility-related matters.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in similar financial leadership roles within Shared Service Centers or multinational environments.
- Exposure to end-to-end finance processes.
- Advanced English proficiency.
- Strong knowledge of Transfer Pricing methodologies, financial analysis and modeling, budgeting, forecasting, tax regulations, and internal control frameworks (ICS / SOX-like environments).
- Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
