Job Title: Technical Consultant – Cloud & Managed Services
Job Summary:
We are seeking a Technical Consultant to join our dynamic Cloud and Managed Services team. This role is key in advancing our cloud infrastructure and managed services strategy, with a strong focus on delivering scalable, secure, and highly available solutions.
Key Responsibilities:

Administer multiple ERP/CIS systems, both on-premises and in Azure, as a primary or secondary consultant.

Co-lead or support complex implementation projects within Microsoft Azure environments.

Design, manage, and maintain cloud infrastructure (Azure AKS, Linux VMs, database services, NSG security configurations).

Maintain Azure services including Virtual Machines, SSO, storage accounts, and Key Vault.

Ensure high availability, reliability, security, and scalability of cloud infrastructure.

Develop automation tools and scripts for deployment, monitoring, and maintenance (PowerShell, Azure CLI, etc.).

Manage Azure Active Directory and related policies.

Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Windows Server and desktop operating systems.

Support disaster recovery systems for both cloud and on-premises environments.

Handle user management, including permissions, SSO, AD Group Policies, and Conditional Access configurations.

Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation and perform scheduled weekend activities when required.

Proactively manage customer environments to ensure maximum uptime and performance.

Provide troubleshooting and ad-hoc support, issue resolution, and perform regular maintenance (patching, updates, releases).

Deliver monthly system performance and availability reports as needed.

Maintain and improve internal documentation, technical guides, and knowledge base content.

Collaborate with delivery, BI, support, and development teams to resolve issues and improve service delivery.

Participate in daily team stand-ups and internal knowledge-sharing sessions.

Contribute to internal initiatives and service improvement projects.
Minimum Qualifications:
-
3+ years of experience with Microsoft SQL Server.
-
1+ years of experience working with Microsoft Azure.
-
1+ years of experience with Apache Tomcat, hardening practices, Nginx, and SSL certificate management.

3+ years of experience in technical support, system administration, cloud infrastructure, or managed services.

2+ years of experience with Jira, TeamSupport, or similar ticketing systems.
Preferred Qualifications:
-
Certifications: CompTIA+, Network+, Security+, AZ-104, AZ-305.

Strong communication skills; ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Experience with scripting and automation tools (Python, PowerShell, Shell, Azure CLI).

Solid understanding of TCP/IP networking.
-
Experience with Oracle database administration.
-
Familiarity with Docker and containerized environments.
-
Previous experience delivering projects on Azure.
-
Experience in the utility industry (desirable but not required).
