Kubernetes & Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

Heredia, Costa Rica

Administer and optimize Azure Kubernetes clusters to ensure efficient deployment and scaling of containerized applications.
Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or similar tools to streamline development workflows.
Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Ansible.
Monitor and troubleshoot Linux-based systems, including hardware, networking, and storage issues.
Manage cloud infrastructure including capacity planning, data migration, and performance tuning.
Configure and manage APIs within Kubernetes environments to support integrations and microservices.
Ensure observability and reliability through effective monitoring and alerting solutions.
Collaborate with development, QA, and security teams to implement DevOps best practices.
Support the deployment and maintenance of hybrid infrastructure (cloud and on-premise).

Must-Have:

3+ years of hands-on experience managing Azure Kubernetes clusters.
Solid experience in DevOps and IT infrastructure.
Proficiency in Linux system administration with strong troubleshooting skills.
Automation experience using Ansible or similar configuration management tools.
Experience configuring CI/CD pipelines (preferably with Jenkins).
Familiarity with Python for scripting and automation.
Experience managing API configurations in Kubernetes environments.
Effective monitoring of services and infrastructure.
Intermediate to advanced English communication skills (verbal and written).

Nice to Have:

5+ years in Systems Administration within data center or on-premise environments.
Experience in performance tuning, data migration, and cloud resource optimization.
Familiarity with hybrid environments (cloud and on-prem).
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or related field.
