Junior Stats Analyst

Cartago, Costa Rica

Develops expertise and practical knowledge of applications within business environment. Understands, creates, and updates standard of procedures documentation to maintain processes delivery according to KDN’S expectations. Determine methods and procedures for new assignments.

Specific Activities
• Assist in the preparation of low complexity statutory financial statements in accordance with local and international accounting standards.
• Collaborate with senior analysts and finance managers to gather and review financial information.
• Review and maintain the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for law updates, process changes, and the inclusion of special situations or scenarios.
• Develop an understanding of tax and financial processes and the business sense needed for making daily decisions and proposing efficient ways of workings.
• Work and promote process improvements – standardization and automation.

Key and Technical Skills
 Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration / Accounting or similar in progress
 Intermediate understanding of tax and accounting processes as well as financial statement analysis skills.
 English B2+

Experience
 1 + years working on finance or statutory accounting processes.
 1+ years working with processes on an Accounting Firm or shared service center environment.
