We are currently implementing a large-scale project to standardize and integrate the IT infrastructure in our international offices

Your role and responsibilities

As part of a project team of 12 people in six locations globally, you will support the implementation and operation of a new IT network for the international FES offices. As “IT Administrator – Regional-Support Latin America”, your activities will focus on providing technical support to the more than 20 project offices that currently exist on the continent. Your tasks include among others:

Implementation (Rollout) of predefined hardware and software at the FES international offices, starting with the preparation of the Rollout to ensure that all prerequisites are met.
Collaboration with the FES global IT team in the implementation and maintenance of standardized security policies, procedures and measures.
Communication with key users and staff in general to ensure proper execution of IT activities.
First and partially second level IT support in coordination with other regional support .
Contact person for user inquiries, assistance to key users and development of user training sessions
Administration and maintenance of client devices and servers at FES international offices.
Advice and support in the acquisition of hardware and software in the countries of the region, in accordance with FES global IT guidelines and asset management standards.
Installation and configuration of additional software on individual devices as required.
Monitoring of compliance with information security regulations and application of corrective measures when appropriate.
User management, including onboarding and offboarding.
Software administration and updates (Patch-Management)

Essential requirements

University degree in Information Technology, Computer Science (or related fields) or its equivalent
Strong knowledge of Microsoft products, especially Active Directory, Exchange, SharePoint, Office, Windows 10/11, Windows Server and VMware.
Knowledge of cybersecurity (experience with artificial intelligence a plus).
Minimum 3 years of professional experience in technical administration and implementation of standardized IT systems; IT Rollout experience is an advantage.
Extensive proven experience in first level user support.
Excellent communication skills in fluent Spanish (Level C1/C2) and good command of oral and written English (minimum B2).
Analytical ability to solve problems and work under pressure.
Ability to explain technical concepts to non-IT specialists.
Proactive attitude, teamwork skills and commitment.
Willingness to travel and to work occasional weekends or holidays and flexible schedules
