Marketing Manager
We are seeking a highly competitive and strategic Marketing Manager to lead, innovate, and execute an integrated marketing strategy that elevates the brand image, visibility, and revenue performance of the resort across all key markets.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Brand Positioning & Market Expansion

Develop and implement a comprehensive, data-driven marketing strategy aligned with the hotel’s vision, positioning it as a premier luxury wellness destination while driving revenue growth.

Enhance brand storytelling and visual identity across all channels, ensuring consistency and exclusivity in global luxury travel markets.

Monitor market trends, competitive positioning, and guest insights to anticipate industry shifts and adapt strategies accordingly.
2. Digital Marketing & Performance Optimization
-
Oversee and continuously optimize the hotel’s digital presence, including website performance, SEO, paid media campaigns (Google Ads, Meta Ads, LinkedIn Ads), and email marketing, ensuring maximum visibility and engagement.

Work closely with revenue management and sales teams to align marketing efforts, implement conversion-driven strategies, and enhance direct booking performance while minimizing OTA dependency.

Implement data-driven marketing initiatives, leveraging tools like Google Analytics, CRM, and performance dashboards to track ROI.

Define content pillars, oversee influencer collaborations, and maximize engagement on platforms such as Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
3. Public Relations & Brand Image

Develop and execute a high-impact PR strategy, securing top-tier media coverage (Condé Nast, Travel + Leisure, Forbes, Robb Report, etc.).

Cultivate and expand strategic relationships with luxury travel networks such as Virtuoso, Traveller Made, and Amex FHR to strengthen brand credibility and increase high-value bookings.

Manage high-profile press trips, brand partnerships, and celebrity/influencer engagements to reinforce the hotel’s reputation.
4. Integrated Campaigns & Advertising

Oversee content creation, visual identity, and advertising strategy, ensuring the highest production standards.

Collaborate with agencies and in-house designers to produce compelling campaigns, video content, and editorial placements.

Optimize and analyze marketing spend, allocating budgets strategically across digital, print, and experiential marketing, leveraging insights from performance metrics to maximize ROI.
5. Sales & Distribution Support

Align marketing efforts with sales and revenue teams to ensure a cohesive commercial strategy.

Strengthen relationships with DMCs, tour operators, and corporate travel accounts to drive high-value bookings.

Spearhead new market penetration strategies to attract UHNW travelers, wellness enthusiasts, and eco-conscious luxury seekers.
6. Leadership & Collaboration

Lead, mentor, and inspire the marketing team, overseeing internal talent and external partners (PR agencies, digital agencies, designers) to foster innovation and strategic collaboration.

Promote cross-functional collaboration with operations, revenue management, and guest experience teams to align marketing with the guest journey.

Provide regular performance reports and data-driven recommendations to senior leadership.
Education & Experience
-
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.

5+ years of experience in luxury hospitality marketing (5-star resorts, boutique hotels, high-end wellness brands) – ideal.

Proven track record of building and executing high-impact marketing strategies in the luxury travel space. Experience with AI-driven marketing tools and automation is a plus.

Expertise in managing multi-channel marketing campaigns, digital media, PR, and branding projects.

English Proficiency: Intermediate-Advanced.

✔ Adaptability & Continuous Learning – Ability to stay ahead of market trends, adopt new technologies, and evolve strategies accordingly.
Work Environment & Flexibility
This position follows a hybrid model:

Remote Work: The role does not require full-time presence at the hotel.

San José Office: Regular office work is an option for candidates based in the capital.

On-Site Visits: Frequent visits to the hotel are required for team coordination, brand immersion, and marketing activations.
