We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer with a focus on GitHub Workflows and Management to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive
expertise in using GitHub for code management and CI/CD pipelines, coupled with strong proficiency in Azure cloud resources management and orchestration.
Additionally, a solid understanding of Ansible for configuration management and automation, along with familiarity in scripting languages, is essential to drive efficiency and optimize our development lifecycle.

Primary Functions:

• Design, implement, and manage CI/CD workflows using GitHub Actions; optimize pipelines for performance and reliability.
• Administer and maintain GitHub repositories and organizational settings, ensuring best practices are followed for branching and code reviews.
• Collaborate with software development and IT operations teams to standardize and improve workflows across the software development lifecycle.
• Build, maintain, and manage Azure resources (e.g., VMs, databases, network components), ensuring scalability, security, and cost-effectiveness.
• Implement and manage infrastructure automation using Ansible; develop playbooks for configuration management, application deployment, and operational tasks.
• Develop and maintain scripts using languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell for task automation and system management.
• Troubleshoot issues across the development environment, including server setup, network configurations, and application deployment.
• Monitor system performance and availability, implement necessary updates and patches, and develop strategies to prevent future issues.
• Collaborate with software engineers to create and manage containerized applications and solutions.
• Continuously evaluate and implement new tools and practices to improve development and operational processes.

Job Qualifications
The qualifications we are looking for are mixture of work experience and educational background. They are split into Minimum Qualifications (must have) and Additional Qualifications (nice to have) for the role:

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent relevant work experience.
• 3+ years of experience in a DevOps role, with a strong emphasis on automation and collaboration.
• Proven track record of implementing DevOps practices in large-scale, complex environments.
• Proficiency in cloud platforms (Azure or AWS) and their services.
• Extensive experience with GitHub Actions.
• Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell).
• Strong knowledge of automation tools (e.g., Ansible).
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Azure DevOps Pipelines, GitLab CI/CD) and version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.

Additional Qualifications:

• Certifications in cloud technologies (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Microsoft Certified: Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, Google Cloud Professional DevOps Engineer).
• Understanding of monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Grafana, Logging Monitor).
• Experience with advanced monitoring and observability tools (e.g., New Relic, Datadog, Splunk).
• Knowledge of security practices and tools in a DevOps context (e.g., vulnerability scanning, security monitoring, compliance automation).
• Strong understanding of networking concepts and protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/S).
