Coordinates and supports the supply chain for consolidation and freight forwarding accounts and relates to all operational services.
Main Responsibility / Duties
Understanding of systems to interpret and resolve discrepant data, ensuring accuracy and timely information is added for all shipments.
Monitors and keeps internal customers notified about booking quality, documents uploaded on internal systems, data entry, and milestones of cargo.
Troubleshooting of marking or piece count holds, OBL requirements.
Processing information based on established rules and procedures has more impact on operational focus and data quality.
Follows up on payment status to ensure cargo release promptly.
New accounts onboarding process and operational Write-Up creation.
Quality reports generation for work queue tasks and inbound reports.
Tracking rail events and vessel arrivals for operations visibility.
Identify recurring internal process failures/redundancies/problems.
Education:
High school diploma mandatory. A college degree or studies in related fields is required or its equivalent of 3+ years of relevant experience.
Experience:
2+ years of experience minimum in Logistics, supply chain, and consolidation process, knowledge of distribution, warehousing, and transportation.
Abilities:
Knowledge in PC workstation skills in Windows and MS Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and intermediate-advance Excel skills. Successfully pass 1-year assessment if applicable.
Proficiency in English and Spanish
