Credit Risk Analyst

The Credit Risk Analyst will support the evaluation and monitoring of customer creditworthiness to minimize financial risks for the company. This role involves analyzing financial data, preparing credit assessments, and ensuring compliance with credit policies.
The analyst will collaborate with senior team members to ensure informed credit decisions and gain experience in credit risk management.
Main Responsibilities
- Collect and review customer financial information, such as credit reports, payment histories, and financial statements.
- Assist in preparing and updating credit assessments and customer risk profiles.
- Support the evaluation of credit limits and payment terms in accordance with company policies.
- Monitor and report changes in customer credit status or financial stability.
- Collaborate with collections and sales teams to address credit-related concerns.
- Maintain and update records in the credit management system.
- Escalate potential credit risks or concerns to senior analysts or supervisors.
- Ensure compliance with internal credit policies and external regulations.
Requirements
- Education: Current student or recent graduate in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
- Experience: 1-2 years in administrative or financial roles, preferably in credit, risk, or Accounting.
- Skills:
- Basic understanding of financial statement analysis and credit evaluation concepts.
- Intermediate proficiency in Excel.
- Advanced English level (B2 or higher), with strong communication skills.
- Strong analytical abilities, attention to detail, and multitasking capability.
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with credit risk scoring tools or financial analysis software.
- Knowledge of credit policies and regulatory frameworks.
- Experience in shared services or multinational environments.
