Accounting Supervisor

The Accounting Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and executing the month-end financial close process, preparing financial statements, and coordinating audits. The role also involves preparing internal management reports, supporting local tax filings and free trade zone regulations, and managing special projects. This position requires leadership skills to inspire and manage a team, optimize processes and workflows, and provide ad-hoc operational accounting support as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and execute the month-end financial close process, including the preparation and review of accounting journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Prepare and present management reports for internal use.
• Assist in the annual audit process, coordinating with external auditors and preparing necessary audit schedules.
• Support relevant tax filings, including local requirements and free trade zone regulations.
• Manage special projects and provide ad-hoc operational accounting support as needed.
• Conduct weekly team meetings and informal huddles to maintain communication.
• Perform performance reviews and implement improvement plans for team members.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience.
• At least 2 year of supervisory experience.
• Experience with ERP systems (MSD365 or SAP).
• Ability to inspire and lead a team, fostering professional growth.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English B2+, with the ability to present information professionally to customers, management, and subordinates.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
