Senior Transfer Pricing Analyst
Cartago, Costa Rica
The Transfer Pricing Senior Analyst plays a strategic role in executing and overseeing complex global transfer pricing processes. This position involves high exposure to cross-regional stakeholders and requires the ability to apply professional judgment in a fast-paced environment. The analyst will contribute to enhancing process standardization, strengthening controls, driving automation initiatives, and supporting global compliance efforts.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead and perform complex transfer pricing and statutory accounting analyses, including profitability reviews, documentation, IP-related adjustments, and intercompany transactions.

Ensure alignment with OECD guidelines and the client’s operating model, connecting business functions across regions to develop accurate and insightful analysis.

Review deliverables produced by team members, ensuring consistency, compliance, and timely delivery.

Support the preparation of economic benchmarking analyses and related documentation.

Conduct reconciliations of material and complex data across multiple ERP systems and internal tools.

Manage transactional activities tied to SOX controls, fiscal audits, and transfer pricing reviews, ensuring effective coordination with internal and external audit teams.

Supervise and guide assignments that require technical depth, analytical thinking, and initiative to solve challenges and recommend sustainable solutions.

Facilitate the adoption of new client transfer pricing processes, ensuring a smooth transition and appropriate documentation.

Identify and implement process improvement and automation opportunities to enhance operational efficiency.

Collaborate on special projects and initiatives involving transfer pricing or general finance as needed.
Required Qualifications:

Proven experience in transitioning or migrating financial or compliance processes (e.g., onboarding new services or global operations).

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, or a related discipline.

At least 2 years of experience in accounting, finance, or economics roles.

Solid understanding of accounting and transfer pricing frameworks.

Advanced English proficiency.

Demonstrated ability in managing change and adopting new processes.

Strong analytical skills, detail orientation, and problem-solving capabilities.

Experience working with senior stakeholders across regions.

Excellent planning, organizational, and communication skills.

Proficient with business tools (e.g., Microsoft Office suite).
