Job Summary:
The Quality Manager at Airlink Distribution is responsible for leading and overseeing all quality assurance-related activities within the company, which has evolved from a value-added distributor and reseller to an electronic equipment engineering and manufacturing company. This role is essential to develop and implement quality policies and procedures, ensure compliance with international standards, manage internal and external audits, and continuously improve processes and products, thus ensuring customer satisfaction and compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Development of Quality Policies and Procedures:
– Design and establish quality policies and procedures that align with relevant international standards and the specific needs of OEMs, telecom operators, retailers, and insurance providers.
– Ensure that production processes and services meet established quality requirements.
- Audit Management:
– Plan and coordinate internal audits to assess compliance with quality standards and identify areas for improvement.
– Coordinate external audits carried out by certification bodies and clients, ensuring the integrity of the process.
- Continuous Improvement:
– Identify opportunities for improvement in quality processes and systems.
– Implement corrective and preventive actions to address non-conformities and prevent their recurrence.
– Promote a culture of continuous improvement among employees, highlighting the importance of value-added and rescue services.
- Training and Development:
– Train staff in quality management techniques and tools, adapting training to the various areas of the company, including engineering and manufacturing.
– Facilitate the understanding and adoption of quality practices at all levels of the organization.
- Documentation Management:
– Oversee quality documentation, including quality manuals, standard operating procedures, and quality control records.
– Ensure documentation is up-to-date and available for reference by relevant personnel.
- Relations with Customers and Suppliers:
– Collaborate with customers and suppliers to ensure the quality of the products and services delivered, ensuring that value-added services are met according to expectations.
– Effectively manage customer complaints and grievances, implementing corrective measures as necessary.
Requirements:
– Undergraduate degree in Quality Management, Industrial Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a related field.
– Previous experience in quality management roles, preferably in electronic equipment manufacturing companies or in free zones.
– In-depth knowledge of international quality standards and norms (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, etc.).
– Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies such as Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing.
– Knowledge of electronic manufacturing processes and quality standards applicable in this industry.
– Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
– Exceptional customer orientation and interpersonal skills.
– Advanced English language proficiency.
